(GAC) is seeking a highly experienced Enforcement and Compliance Unit Head to supervise implementation and compliance activities related to the implementation of judicial decisions and rulings, follow up on the compliance of entities with decisions issued by the Board of Directors as (measures). Follow up on the implementation of the established settlements, ensure the performance of their obligations and commitments, follow up on the implementation of the decisions of the Committee for the Separation and Judicial Judgments, and take systematic action to implement them.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Propose and monitor the development of plans and methodology of implementation and compliance, in line with the strategic directions and in coordination with all organizational units to achieve consistency and harmonization in the application of related activities and practices.
- Follow up on the compliance of entities with the decisions on mergers, acquisitions and possession issued by GAC, coordinate with the Market surveillance Unit therein, follow up on the implementation of the decisions of the Committee for Adjudication of Competition Law Violations or the measures issued by the Board of Directors.
- Prepare and report on the level of implementation by entities of measures and conditional decisions on concentrations, exemptions, settlements and reconciliation, and provide recommendations that contribute to raising the level of implementation and compliance.
- Prepare, supervise and review the entities' compliance programs and guidelines when needed to provide visions and recommendations.
- Follow-up on the implementation of annual plans to promote compliance with the Competition Law and provide advisory support to entities by providing workshops in coordination with the relevant organizational units.
- Cooperate with entities to review their level of compatibility with the principles of the Competition Law, and identify their risks and irregularities to help them develop their own policies to prevent and address violations of the Competition Law as they occur.
Skills
Requirements and Qualifications:
· Bachelor Degree in Law or any relevant major.
· 8 years of experience in the job field.
