Job Description
Oversee market studies activities in the Economic Affairs Department including planning for annual studies and researches, conducting market analysis and in-depth assessment of market structure, and providing recommendations and competition policy advice that promote consumer welfare and market development.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
· Develop prioritization and selection criteria to identify market study subjects.
· Analyze local markets and the various economic sectors’ activities to identify any potential detriment to consumer welfare as well as any indication of anticompetitive conduct or competition concerns. .

· Develop annual plan of market researches and studies.
· Prepare a project scope and a detailed plan for a market study including objectives, methodology, information collection and analysis, international benchmarking, as well as key deliverables and milestones.
· Implement a quality assurance process and international best practices and experiences in market studies, to ensure the market study meets appropriate standards.
· Develop a stakeholder engagement strategy to ensure successful market study outcomes.
· Assess the proposed market study outcomes and present recommendations that can be implemented to promote competition and consumer welfare.

· Evaluate all markets studies conducted and measure its effectiveness. .
· Participate in analyzing economic reform programs and initiatives to provide necessary recommendations in line with GAC’s mandates.
Skills
Qualifications & Professional Experience:
Master Degree in Economics with related professional work experience of (8 years)
* Must be a Saudi National
