Facilities Management Officer

Job Description

Key Accountabilities:

  1. Fostering a professional working environment.develop and
  2. Implement a facility management program including preventative maintenance and life-cycle requirements.
  3. Supervise, Maintain and observe all facility contracts.
  4. Managing janitorial duties.
  5. Ensuring adequate catering and vending services.
  6. Plan and Undertaking periodically building and grounds maintenance.
  7. Ensuring facilities are always clean.
  8. Installing and managing air conditioning services.
  9. Comply with all relevant safety and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
  10. Managing waste disposal systems.
  11. Ensuring a constant security presence.
  12. Managing parking facilities and ensuring space.
  13. Overseeing refurbishments and renovations.
  14. Ensure that all reports are prepared timely and accurately and meet department requirements, policies and standards.
  15. Implement best practice processes to increase efficiency.



  1. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Facilities Management, Facilities Engineering or any relevant field.
  2. A minimum of 2 years experience as a Facility Management Officer or related field.


  • Project management skills.
  • Multitasking ability.
  • principles and practices of business administration.
  • working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal Arabic and English .
  • experience in construction, maintenance and all facets of facility operation.
